Don't Go Nuts has 3 different bars Whitewater Chomp, Gorilla power and there Newest addition Blueberry Blast chewy bars that are dairy free, but they are processed on the same equipment as dairy products. Having options is always fun and great especially while in a hurry and rushing out the door.
What the bars have and what they Don't!!!
Let's start with what the bars have. They contain more Organic whole grain oats, brown crispy rice, honey, sugar, sunflower oil, soy lecithin, vanilla and tapioca. Among other ingredients in the dairy bars are whole milk powder and white chocolate chips. The bar sugar content is about 12 grams per bar, at 140-150 calories per bar and only 2 grams of protein (not bad considering other bars). First thought I had when I saw the sugar content was... OHHH thats a lot of sugar, but the actually made adjustments to their bars. Adding more whole grains to every bar and reducing the sugar content, now makes the bars meet Federal requirements for Smart snacks in schools. They are now also kid size bars making the labels easier to compare with other leading bars.
What's not in the bars, for one they don't have any of these common ingredients other bars have like invert sugar, corn syrup Solids, glycerin, calcium carbonate, sorbitol, BHT (Preservative) and artificial flavors. They also don't have peanuts or any tree nuts including coconut, they are certified gluten free and have a protocol in place called field to fingers process for ensuring they’re peanut, tree nut and gluten free.

The taste to all the bars are softer than regular granola bars, hence the name chewy bars. My husband said the bars tasted exactly as the flavor should and the blueberry one was soft to where I thought, "you can break up the bars into 6 small pieces and make them into little granola balls to top any fun lunch!
