gluten-free heaven sweet roll mix
I reached out to Gluten-Free Heaven to review some their products. The mixes where sent to me by the company, but my review is based off of my thoughts on how easy or hard it was to handle and achieve the final product.
So when I received the Sweet Roll Mix I felt a sudden urge to make a GIANT Cinnamon Roll like the ones you see on the Facebook videos. The mix is an average size that makes 12 regular muffin size cinnamon rolls. The blue packaging it came in fits the name perfect; it looks like a heavenly package. I also liked that they send their product accompanied with a sheet of paper letting you know they have "HOW TO" videos and more; I personally loved that they took that extra step for the consumer. Let's get started with the making and baking process of this GAINT cinnamon roll. First I read the instructions on the back of the packaging and gathered my needed ingredients and supplies I would be using during the process. I used my Kitchen Aid mixer and added everything in the order stated, I followed instructions to the tee. The mixing process took about 5 minuets, I then wrapped the dough in plastic to chill. After about an hour I took out the dough, rolled it out and made my cinnamon spread. I brushed the cinnamon spread over the dough and cut the dough into 4 large rows. I started rolling the first row, once that was done I placed that roll on top of the next row and rolled them together, I did this with all 4 rows and it gave me a beautiful giant cinnamon roll. I placed the roll in a spring pan and left it to rest and rise (about and hour). I baked the roll for about an hour and 20 minutes. It smelled divine and heavenly no doubt. While we waited for it to cool I made a vegan cream cheese frosting to top it. Pictures were taken (sorry for the bad quality pictures, the roll was made at night and no one wanted to wait for it to be photographed the next day to eat). And the roll was gone just like that, overall I loved the product and its simplicity, the flavors where perfect, the roll was fluffy and not heavy. Thank you Gluten Free Heaven for the sample.
