WE ARE STRONG! HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
As women we should all stick together and not tear each other apart.
I am so fortunate and thankful to be able to stay home with my girls (while my husband works hard long hours for our family). I am the best mom in the world for my daughters!!!
I yell, I cry, I put my kids in time out, I also spank once in a blue moon (not to be confused with beating your kids till they are black and blue... that is called abuse). I breastfed my oldest and formula feed my youngest, which I beat myself up so much for it because the motto "breast is best". I give medicine, I wipe tears, I hug, I spoil, I vaccinate, I co-sleep, I do laundry (but have piles of dirty clothes all the time too), I read Bible stories, I let my girls have screen time (maybe too much for some, but it works for us), I pick up toys, and still manage to go to bed with toys all over the living room, I wash dishes (and there is always dishes in my sink), I clean up throw up and poop, I potty trained (one was 12 month old when potty trained and the other was 2 years old. I felt bad because all the moms that rub it in, but my girls are different and always be.) I'm not a mom that compares her daughters and never will be. I make breakfast, sometimes too late. I also make lunch and dinner, I give showers and baths. I buy organic food, I clean with non-toxic chemicals and use essential oils, because that works for us. I blog, I go to summits, expos and seminars. We believe in Jehovah. I am a teacher, I am a doctor, a nutritionist, a game player, a therapist and everything that falls inbetween. I GO TO BED LATE AND WAKE UP EARLY TO MAKE TIME FOR ME!! I am on call 24/7, I wake up many times a night to bottle feed my daughter-still at the age of 3. Being a stay at home mom doesn't pay my bills, but it will make 2 strong, humble, healthy, smart, loving, compassionate WOMEN in the future! Your welcome.
My girls depend on me to wake up every morning and do ALL this everyday. That’s what keeps me going. I am grateful, I have an amazing mother who helped me be who I am! My women support system is amazing, my family and friends are supportive and are there for me when I need them.
This post is to share with you that ALL women are strong no matter what. Stay at home moms you are Strong, Single moms you are Strong! We all raise our kids differently and that's okay. Some homeschool, some choose private schooling and others boarding school, it's okay. We should NOT judge one another. We should support one another. Remember WE ARE STRONG! Judging one another only tears us apart but complementing one another builds us all up! Pass the love around.
THANK YOU FOR READING and please share.
